Peggie's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends; her kindness, curious nature, generous spirit and patience attracted many lifelong friends. She enjoyed painting, drawing, sewing and collecting antiques.
She is survived by her husband Fred, children Steven Wilson and Amie Palenchar (Michael), two grandchildren Anna & Wyatt, one brother John Simms and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas & Anna Simms, her sister Nadine Long and brother James Simms.
Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of life on May 18, 2025 at the Rockawalkin Community Hall in Hebron, MD with visitation from 2:00-3:00 and prayer service at 3:00. Peggie's family is immensely grateful for the kind and thoughtful care she received from the staff of the Berlin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Coastal Hospice.
