Margaret Lee Mills was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, cousin, and friend. On October 30, 2025, Margaret departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, faith, and unwavering love. As we gather to honor her life, we reflect on the countless ways she touched our hearts and inspired those around her. Margaret was born on February 29, 1944, in Dunnellon, Florida, to Ernest Lee Mills Sr. and Delilah (Coston) Mills. From an early age, her parents instilled in her a spirit of curiosity and compassion. She grew up surrounded by her siblings: James Lee Mills Sr. (deceased), Ernest Lee Mills Jr., Willie Lee Mills (deceased), Marie (Mills) Gunter (deceased) (Arthur Gunter Sr.), Cathan Lucile Mills, Clarence Lenard Mills (Jewel Mills), and Michael Leonard Mills. Maxine Thomas is her sister-in-law and a lifelong friend, along with her other sisters-in-law, Merial C. Mills and Jewel Mills. Margaret was a devoted mother to her four children: James Edward Martin Jr., Marjorie Maria Martin, Kimberly LaShelle (Martin) Taylor (Tarvis Taylor), and Daniel Eugene Martin Sr. Her love and guidance shaped their lives, and her legacy continues through them. Family was always Margaret's greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren include William A. Archer, Alyssa D. Martin, Tarelle S. Walker (Geneya), Willie E. Walker Jr., Jabari D. Walker (Favour), Shaliah D. Walker, Aiden C. Smith, Ziare N. Walker, Olevyia R. Edwards, Antonio D. Taylor Sr., Antonio D. Taylor Jr., Josiah D.
