Margarete Jean Whaley, 75 of Farmington, was a beloved mother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at NHC Nursing Center in Desloge. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Bill Campbell, Mary Mortimer, Nita Pratt and Tom Campbell.

Margie is survived by her sons, Michael Gibbons and wife Janice, Greg Gibbons (Regina Smith); 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Logan and Alyssa Gibbons; two great-grandchildren, Cali and Cove Gibbons; and siblings, Don Campbell, Carolyn Skidmore, Nancy Taylor and husband Robert, Dale Campbell, David Campbell and wife Karen, Donna Freeman and husband Jerry; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.
