Richard Lynn Danley, Sr., 82, of Park Hills, passed away March 14, 2026, at Country Meadows in Park Hills. He was born June 8, 1943, in Bonne Terre, to James F. Harris and Ila Mae (Roan) Danley and later adopted by Ralph Danley.
Richard proudly served his country in The United States Marines from May of 1961 to May of 1964. He was an over-the-road truck driver and dedicated several years until retirement. After his retirement, he enjoyed camping with his wife at Cloud 9 Ranch in Caulfield, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; sister, Jamie Harris; and three brothers in-law, Kelvin Yount, Ron Wright and Jerry Moore.
Richard is survived by one son, Richard Danley, Jr.; two stepdaughters, Lisa Rawson (James) and Cassandrea Clinton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Tami Ringler (Tom), Patricia Yount, Barbara Wright and Karen Moore; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A private inurnment will take place at Jefferson Barracks at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
