Margarita Martinez Obituary
Margarita was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was rooted in love, resilience, and a deep commitment to her family.
She is survived by her children, Alma Lorena Martinez and Oscar Martinez, Jr.; and her beloved grandchildren Daniela Martinez, Alejandra Martinez, Oscar Martinez, Adrian Martinez, Renesmy Martinez, and Anahi Martinez. She is also survived by her brother Jose A. Torres and his wife Rachel C., along with numerous nieces and nephews from Seguin, Texas, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, Apolonio Torres and Guadalupe Meza.
Her memory will be cherished forever by those who knew and loved her. Her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit leave a legacy that will continue to shine through her family for generations to come.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas; followed by the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 307 E. Losoya St, Del Rio, Texas.
The interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Margarita, please visit our floral store.
