Margarita Resto, 74, died Monday June 10, 2024 at York Hospital with her family by her side.
Margie was born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico to Santina Morales.
Margie was a sweet woman who loved serving the Lord and was always the caregiver to her family.
She didn't have any evil in her body. She loved everyone. Margie enjoyed coloring and boy, did she love her cowboy movies while growing up. She was the type of mother who would do anything she can to make sure her children were all taken care of and healthy. She loved going to lakes fishing, driving, and going on long walks. Boy, how I missed them long walks.
She was the best mother anyone could ask for, she will dearly be missed by lots. She loved the church she was attending and everybody in it. Margarita is survived by her husband, Jose A. Torres and children, Breni Resto Jr., Rafael Resto, Daniel Resto, Brenda Resto, Samuel Resto. Reunited with her first born daughter Evelyn Resto, who passed as a baby. She also is survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and five nieces and nephews. Rest easy up there in heaven watching over us and watching your cowboy movies.

A viewing will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday June 18, 2024 at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 2114 West Market Street. The family will share memories at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
