Marge Raw Obituary
Marge was born November 7, 1928, in Montville Township, Ohio, to the late Vern and Miriam (Kaufman) Ream. She was a graduate of Sharon High School and later married Stanley G. Raw.
She was a longtime member of Sharon Center United Methodist Church, where she served as the organist for approximately 60 years and also sang in the choir. Marge enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking. Each Christmas, she lovingly prepared boxes of cookies for anyone who delivered items to the family farm-a tradition that reflected her generous and caring spirit.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Millie) Raw of Wadsworth; four grandchildren, Mark Raw, Eric Raw, Christine (Tom) Boche and Whitney (Garrett) Harrell; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Stanley, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Raw; two brothers; and three sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Sharon Center United Methodist Church, 6407 Ridge Road, P.O. Box 239, Sharon Center, with Pastor Don Trigg officiating. Burial will have taken place at Sharon Cemetery in Sharon Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Center United Methodist Church Abiding Memorial Fund, Hospice of Medina County 5075 Windfall Rd, Medina, OH 44256, or Sharon Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 310, Sharon Center, OH 44274.
