Marge Schenker brought sparkle to life and to everyone around her. She was the beloved wife of Fred Schenker and a devoted mother to Rebecca, Andrew, Jeremy, and mother-in-law to Jeremy's wife, Gloriana.
Marge was a good sport. She was also incredibly clever and quietly smart, with a sharp wit and a bit of playful sass. Known for her patience and sense of humor, she lovingly went along with the many Schenker family shenanigans and adventures.
Marge loved to sail, travel, cook, and craft. She adored dogs and had a soft spot for all animals, including her children's adventures with ducks, tadpoles, ferrets, snakes, hamsters, birds, and guinea pigs.
Marge was the heart of her family and home. She had a special gift for making ordinary moments meaningful and celebrations magical. One of her greatest joys was bringing family together around her table for Thanksgiving, Passover, and Hanukkah, where her delicious cooking was enjoyed and everyone cherished being together. She also made Christmas special each year, especially with her baking and cherished Christmas cookies.
Above all, Marge loved her family deeply. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, traditions, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Wednesday 8pm, friends and family are invited to share a few words in honor of Marge - a favorite memory, a funny story, a special moment, or something you loved about her.
