She enjoyed arts and crafts, visits to the Hollywood Casino, adored animals, in particular her fur baby Lou-Lou and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, 845 Laurel Hill Road, Columbia PA 17512 on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Margie V. Bard, 63 of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of David C. Bard with whom she was married 45 years. Born in Beaufort, SC she was the daughter of the late John F. Arnold, Sr. and Virginia Reese Arnold Garrisson.

Margie was employed for three years as a part time bus driver for Durham School Services, a job she truly loved. She was a member of the American Legion Post 466 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 646. She enjoyed arts and crafts, visits to the Hollywood Casino, adored animals, in particular her fur baby Lou-Lou and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Margie is survived by her children, Samantha Weaver and her spouse Nichole; David M. Bard and his fiancée Caitlyn Henninger; three grandchildren, Bryce, Grayson & Easton; an abundance of nieces and nephews; brothers, Charles "Peanut" Garrison, Ralph, husband of Vanessa Arnold and Wilbur Sr., husband of Irene Arnold. Her siblings, Belle Smith and John Arnold, Jr. preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, 845 Laurel Hill Road, Columbia PA 17512 on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
