Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Jane Branum will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Mike Russell officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 until 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow at noon at the Mississippi Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Newton. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
Mrs. Margie Jane Branum "Mamaw", 89, passed from this world to hear Heavenly home on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Mrs. Branum was a longtime member of First Baptist Lauderdale. She was a wonderful mother and sister, although "Mamaw Jane" was her favorite role in this life. She loved her family well and taught each family member so much during her lifetime. She most enjoyed serving others.
Mrs. Branum is survived by her children, Ronnie Croley (Toni), Donnie Croley (Gerri Lynne), Tim Croley (Tamera), Julie Croley Kessler, and Jonathan Croley (Andrea); her grandchildren, Rachel Carver, Sarah Peagler, Megan Clark, Brandon Croley, Carrie Vance, Chad Croley, Matthew Croley, Austin Croley, Isabell Croley, and Elizabeth Croley; her siblings, Faye Jones, Hazel Stevens (Robert), Bill Toomer (Cheryl), and JoAnn Cheves (Sandy); and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace "Pete" Branum; and her parents, Gordon and Willie Jo Toomer.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Croley, Brandon Croley, Chad Croley, Austin Croley, Cooper Clark, and Adam Vance.
