Margie Gail Crigler, 65 of Shepherdsville passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, at Baptist Louisville with her family by her side.
She was a Baptist by faith. Margie was a hard worker having worked over 20 years as an assistant and store manager of Five Star followed by working Bullitt County Schools just prior to retirement. Margie made unusual efforts to succeed, she put in long hours and extra effort to ensure that the needs of her family were fulfilled. She was strong and selfless, always helping others in need. Free time was spent with those she cherished most. Margie adored her grandchildren and could think of no more perfect day than one spent with those she loved. She was a shopping enthusiast. She enjoyed spending time with her two dogs Ollie and Ellie.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rowena Smith and Charles T. Wood.
Margie is survived by her children Christopher S. Crigler and his wife Tiffany of Willisburg and Melissa Branthoover and her husband Chad of Mt. Washington; siblings Beverly Bowling (Eddie) of Shepherdsville, Charles Wood of Elizabethtown, Carol Ruley (Ricky) of Loretta, Sandy Tinnell (Bubba) of Shepherdsville and Leigh Ann Allen (Rob Wilkins) of Louisville; her grandchildren Mackenzie “Kenzie” Crigler, Christopher T. “Tyler” Crigler, Madilyn Bussell, Scarlett Bussell, Alexander “Alex” Branthoover and Coraline “Cora” Branthoover; her significant other of more than 30 years, Terrance Wilkins; along with extended family and friends.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Veatch officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday from noon until time of service.
