Margie was born June 25, 1944 in Dekalb County, Alabama to parents, Virgie Hubert and Alice Mae Brown Parham. She had attended Ider High School and had worked at Shaw Industries and United Hosiery. She was a member of Ider Church of God.
Survivors include sons, Dwight Evans(Jennifer), Kenneth Evans, grandchildren, Brandi Jackson(Dakota), Garrik Evans, Jaz Nogee, A J Evans, great-grandchildren, Bennett Jackson, Asher Jackson, Catherine Williams, Jaxson Nogee, Storm Evans, Jamie Evans, sisters, Ethel Eargle, Linda Cox, brothers, Obie Parham and Wayne Parham, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harvey Levon Evans, sisters, Ruby Morgan, Maydell Mooneyham, brothers, Olen, Richard, Winfred, and Gladstone Parham.
