Margie Floyd

On Sunday morning, September 29, 2024, our precious Momma - Marjorie "Margie" Delphine Floyd - fell to the withering of time. She gently and peacefully concluded her journey upon this earth. Her work as a mother, sister, grandmother, friend, caregiver and homemaker was complete.
Margie was the cornerstone and foundation that held her children and family together. She was a pillar of strength as she reared her children for 52 years on her own after the loss of her husband. She taught them to love and care for all who came into her world without question.
Margie's beautiful bright blue eyes will shine forever in God's new home he has prepared for her. She once again hears the music of the children she so adored.
The memories, love and laughter Margie leaves behind will reign forever in the mass of lives she has touched.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Goldie Blass (nee Gromer); her beloved husband, Edgar Floyd; one brother, Billy Blass; three sisters, June Lee, Mickey Sweet, Janet Burke; and three children, Michael Bishop, Sue Bishop, and Kathy Powell.
Left to cherish Margie's memory are her children, JC (Trish) Bishop, Debra (Don) Fort, Rose (Greg) Clark, Jo Floyd, Jackie (Cass) Johnson, Eddie (Kay) Floyd, Bev (Jean) Haffner, John (Mary) Floyd; two sisters, Nancy (Robbie) Robinson, Kitty (Frank) Kittstein; 40+ grandchildren; 30+ great-grandchildren; 20+ great-great-grandchildren; and friends, Rebecca Wolf, Carnie, Tina, and Dollie Thomas.
