Memorials may be given to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

She was born March 5, 1941, to Christ and Pauline (Busch) Jundt in Rugby, ND, and graduated from Berwick High School in 1959.

Margie was united in marriage to Dennis P. Haga on March 5, 1962, at St. Leo’s Church, Minot, ND. She worked as a dental assistant in Minot for several years. After moving to North Mankato in 1968, she provided home child care for several years before spending 37 years at Golden Heart Child Care Center, retiring in 2014.

Margie’s greatest joy was her family. She poured her heart into raising her children and took pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home was the gathering place for the holidays—full of warmth, laughter, and lasting memories. Margie had a gift for remembering everyone’s favorites, and though recipes were shared, no one could quite make a meal like Grandma did. She was the heart of the family—the one who made everyone feel cared for and known. True to her spirited German roots, Margie was particular about how things were done—always cleaning, organizing, and rarely letting anyone, including her husband Dennis, lift a finger.

Margie’s faith was inspiring. She was a dedicated member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she found joy in serving others. Whether lending a hand at bake sales, singing in the choir, or attending Mass, she gave her time and heart to her church.

Margie was also a passionate sports fan. She was a devoted Mavericks hockey fan and held season tickets for many years. She also proudly cheered for the Minnesota Vikings. She was known for being an antsy seat watcher—rarely sitting during games.

Margie was truly one of a kind—selfless, loving, and full of grace. Anyone who knew her felt the warmth of her care and the comfort of her presence. She gave endlessly to those around her, never asking for anything in return. The big, beautiful family she built will miss her deeply, but her spirit lives on in each of us. We are proud to be a part of her legacy and grateful for the example she set.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; three children, Al (Carol) Haga of Milwaukee, WI, Paula (Dean) Tibbetts of Lake Crystal, and Paul (Amy) Haga of Eagle Lake; ten grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Huber, Kyle (Kelly) Haga, Austin (Loren) Haga, Kate (Brian) Rislow, Tony (Ashley) Haga, Jade (Marcus) Paskel, Cody Tibbetts, McKenzie Tibbetts, Logan (Danielle) Haga, and Taylor (Zach Erickson) Haga; sixteen great-grandchildren, Ella, Addison, and Olivia Huber, Penelope and Piper Haga, Remmi, Sulli, Murphy, and Gordie Haga, Bode, Elin, and Amry Rislow, Oliver Haga, Ave and Sire Paskel, and Zachary Haga; ten siblings, Al (Ann) Jundt, Leo (Gloria) Jundt, Alice Schneider, Sylvia Hanneson, George (Marge) Jundt, Virgil (Sandy) Jundt, Carol (Larry) Thompson, Gary (Carlean) Jundt, Anna Barbara (Earl) Babb, Roger (Deb) Jundt; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael in 2024; and two sisters, infant Bernice Jundt and Delores Satern."
