Margie Inez Lowery Hedge, 96, of West Columbia, Tx, was carried by Heavenly Angels to her new Eternal Home on March 23, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family as prayers and singing of hymns were made at her bedside. Lovingly known as Nanny to all her grandchildren, she loved to laugh and loved children.
Born on August 27, 1928, in Stephenville, Tx to John W. Lowery and Beulah M. Wilhite Lowery, Margie was one of their 8 children. Growing up during the Great Depression years was challenging for families but the Lowery's endured.
Margie graduated high school in De Leon, Tx and left the country life for the big city, Fort Worth, where she met and married Dan Hedge. They had five children.
Margie is survived by her sons; Alan Hedge (wife Valerie) and Russell Hedge, daughters; Debra Morris and Patricia Hunter (husband Donald R), 13 grandchildren,32 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents, husband, son, Larry Hedge and grandson, Christopher Hedge, brothers; D.D. Lowery and J B Lowery, sisters; Imogene Floyd, Johnnie Fae Hulsey, Geneva Murray, Winnie M Lowery, and Nettie R. Lowery.
The family have Precious Memories and because of God's Blessed Assurance we know It Is Well With Her Soul.
