Margie Wimbs, 72, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at her residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:30 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Fergason Cemetery with Raymond Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Fergason Cemetery.
Born on March 5, 1953, to Joe and Ludiana South Winchester. Margie enjoyed planting flowers in her flower beds and tending to her rose bushes. She liked spending time with her family. Most of all she loved being around her grandkids and watching the hummingbirds.
Survivors include her children, Brandon (Banita) Wimbs, Pamela Wimbs, and Cody (Cassie) Wimbs; grandchildren, Destanie Wimbs, Brayden Wimbs, Kaleb Wimbs, and Bennett Fulenwider; brothers, Ricky Winchester and Anthony Winchester; sister-in-law, Maurice Winchester; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Haskel Wimbs; parents, Joe and Ludiana Winchester; brothers, Dale Winchester, Charlie Winchester, Burlon Winchester, Donald Winchester, Danny Winchester, Michael Winchester, Willard Winchester, Bobby Winchester, Raymond Winchester, and Earnest Winchester; and one sister, Martha White.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Wimbs, Brayden Wimbs, Kaleb Wimbs, Bennett Fulenwider, Price Jones, and Peyton Stults.
Honorary Pallbearer is Rodney Dunn.
The family extends special thanks to Destanie Wimbs for taking care of Margie.
