Margo Green Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by A Better Place Funeral & Cremation Services on Oct. 23, 2025.
Margo Ann Green was born on August 14, 1951, to Clifford and Mary Green. She grew up in Pleasant View, Colorado, and graduated from Golden High School in 1969. Margo had a passion for riding horses and cherished her three children. While raising her kids, she worked diligently, often holding multiple jobs to provide them with the best life possible. Margo was employed by Jefferson County in the clerk and recording office for over 20 years, eventually retiring in 2019. In her leisure time, Margo enjoyed crocheting hats, blankets, and embroidery, and she always had a mystery novel in progress. She loved spending time outdoors, appreciating nature and animals. As Margo grew older, her focus shifted to spending time with her grandchildren, whether going on driving adventures or buying them special treats. Her grandkids admired and thought of her as one of their closest friends. The arrival of her great-grandchildren always brought a sparkle to her eye, and she delighted in holding, loving, and reading to them. Margo was an extraordinary woman, special to each of us, with a heart of gold and the ability to put a smile on anyone's face. She is survived by her two brothers, John Green (Susie) and Daniel Green (Susan), whom she loved dearly. Margo's children include Fion Dore, Gwendolyn Dearden (Don), and Hope Feather (Justin). She had 11 grandchildren: Little Fion, Ryan (Alyssa), Aisia, Celeste, Jon (Kecia), Josh, Mary (Will), Lilly, Aspen, Josiah, and Elijah. Margo was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren: Raiden, Malakia, Kailah, Brayin, Shia, Leelee, Abagail, McKinsley, Claire, Emily, Willie, and Madison. We will be celebrating Margo's life on March 21st, 2026 the first day of spring, her favorite time of year. Details will be posted soon to ensure everyone can join in honoring this remarkable woman.
