On October 23rd, 2025, God gave Marguerite Flora Babcock her wings to join her husband of 60 years, Donald Babcock. She was born August 15, 1932, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Flora and Candelario Duran. Out of love and legacy, they had 6 children. Marguerite was the first born, and the last to leave for God's kingdom. Preceded in death are her loving siblings: Viola R. Duran, Jimmy P. Duran, Donald T. Duran, Leroy R. Duran, and Robert J. Duran. Now they have all joined together again in heaven. Please pray for all of them to show us the path to everlasting love and hope to be with each other in our Lord's kingdom. We are the ones to be left behind. Her daughters, Tyonna Babcock-Hopp, Michelle JohnsonBaugh (Brad), her sons Don Babcock (Laurie), and Marc Babcock (Renee). Her grandchildren who she adored: Tyrae Lueras (Joseph), Jovanna Lueras (Steve), Aubrey Patterson (Kevin), Roman Babcock, Nava Babcock, and Reign Babcock. Her precious great grandchildre: Dezirae Lueras (Ray), Dedra Leyba (Daniel), Demi Leyba (Charles), C.J. McCartney, Isaiah Leyba (Toshianna), Jovan McCartney (Lettie), and Brad Patterson. And her beloved great-great grandchildren: Dezmin Lueras, Mariah Gutierrez, Micah Lopez, Major Saiz, and Noah and Nessiah Leyba. As well as all her nieces and nephews she will leave behind. Her last wishes were for all of us to get along and to be happy and to love one another. May you rest in peace, never forget so they always stay alive in our hearts. Amen. A mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church located at 619 Copper NW Saturday December 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm, and her burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Monday December 8th at 1:00 pm.
