Marguerite Mead Honeycutt, 70, of Clayton, passed away with her family surrounding her Saturday, June 1, 2024. Mrs. Honeycutt was born October 6, 1953 in Onslow County to the late, William Eugene and Mary Alice Sasser Mead. She was the widow of Robert Earl Honeycutt, Sr.. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister; Mary Moore.
Mrs. Honeycutt was a sewing machine operator for several manufacturing companies. She graduated from college with an Associates in Business. Mrs. Honeycutt loved her family and her canine daughter; Daisy.
Mrs. Honeycutt is survived by her daughter; Penny Pruitt (Roy), son; Everett Mead Sr. (Kayla), daughter; Nancy Flinchum, brother; David Lewis, sister; Linda Steiner (James), grandchildren; Steven Mead (Heather), Ashley Medellin (Brian), David Pruitt, Melyssa Pruitt (Richard), Bethany Mead, Landon Mead, Allie Flinchum, Everett "E.J." Mead, Jr., great grandchildren; Zach, Ava, Natalie, Bradley, Abigale, Lexa, Richard, Jr., Hayden, Jayden, Rachel, and her canine daughter; Daisy
The family will have a gathering at the home of Penny Pruitt, 5107 Cover Bridge Rd., Clayton, NC 27527, 7:00 pm Monday, June 3, 2024.
