Marguerite Roosen, a longtime resident of Long Beach, NY, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, in her 95th year.
Marguerite was the beloved wife of the late John Roosen. She was a devoted mother to Maria Katz and Robert Roosen, a cherished grandmother to Janice and AJ, and a proud great-grandmother to Elijah, Bella, and Olivia. Her love for her family was constant and deep, and her presence brought warmth and grace to all who knew her. Her unwavering faith in the Lord was a beacon of light to those around her.
A faithful member of St. Ignatius Martyr Church, Marguerite lived her life guided by kindness, faith, and quiet strength.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her honor on Tuesday, October 7, at St. Ignatius Martyr Church in Long Beach. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
