Margueritte Yielding

Margueritte (Peggy) Yielding (Mommy, Pebber, Miss.Peggy), 85, passed away on January 19, 2025, at Hospice Home Care, Little Rock, AR. Mrs. Yielding was born September 14, 1939, in Memphis, TN to Kenneth Dwight Eldred and Margueritte Eldred.
She was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. Everyone loved her blingy and flashy style. She was passionate about the Razorbacks and hobbies included shopping at Half of Half in North Little Rock, playing softball, and recently Pickleball. She retired from Jenkins Enterprises and Hogman's Gameday Superstore in 2024.
She grew up with six brothers and two sisters and is survived by daughters Paige Yielding Redd (Bob), Pamela Yielding Hamby and son Gerald Travis Yielding, Jr. (Tricia). She is also survived by grandchildren, Jamie Redd, Gracie Yielding, Tessa Yielding and Tanner Yielding.
Mrs. Yielding was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Travis Yielding, her parents Kenneth Dwight Eldred and Margueritte Eldred, sister, Nancy McRae (Jamie), brothers, Tommy Eldred and Benny Eldred, grandson Bobby Redd and close family members Joni McRae Chalmers, and Genie Eldred.
She was an active member of the Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church for sixteen years. She taught children's Sunday school for many years but recently began teaching the Deborah Sunday school class with the ladies of her age.
The Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 1, 2025, at Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church, 9008 AR Hwy 107, Sherwood, AR.
Everyone who knew her loved her and she loved them. She will be missed by all but is now in her place in heaven.
