Margurita Burlock Obituary
Margurita C. Burlock, 82, of Berlin, passed away on Friday April 18, 2025 at her home. She was born in Lubbock, TX on March 30, 1943 the daughter of Savas and Rita (Cacais) Garza and was raised there. She moved to Berlin in 1988 after meeting her husband, Floyd. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the Ryan-Scammon Post #36 American Legion Auxiliary and the White Mountain Post # 2520 VFW Auxiliary.
Family includes her husband Floyd L. Burlock of Berlin, NH; two sons Carlos Mendoza of Los Angeles, CA and Raymond Mendoza and wife Mary of Lubbock, TX; daughters Erika Bourassa and husband Jim of Berlin, NH and Nherriza Lacasse and husband Kevin of New Hampton, NH; 10 grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; siblings Savas Garza of Amarillo, TX, Linda Cruz of Lubbock, TX, Jova Gonzales of Watsonville, CA, Lupe Garza of Brownville, TX, Beatrice Garza of Lubbock, TX, Janie Garza of Brownfield, TX and Ava Gorara of Goliad, TX; many nieces and nephews
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 24, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday April 23 from 6 to 8 PM. Interment will be at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
