In Loving Memory of Maria Victoria Apple

April 1, 1947 – October 3, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maria Victoria Apple, "Vicky" who passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, in Texas.

Born on April 1, 1947, in El Salvador, she grew up with a strong spirit and a dream for a better life. At just 17 years old, she courageously came to the United States to continue her studies and pursue her passion for sewing and upholstery. In San Francisco, she mastered her craft and went on to become a talented seamstress and upholsterer whose hands could bring new life to anything she touched. It was also there that she met the love of her life and together they built a family of three children: Jerry Kerley, Sherry Woodard, and Janet Carrasco.

Though life brought its challenges, she faced them all with grace, faith, and determination. After moving to Nevada and later making her home in Texas, she continued to share her talents with her community - teaching, creating, and inspiring everyone around her. She was known for her kindness, her warmth, and her ability to make everyone feel loved. To many, she wasn't just a mother - she was everyone's mom.

She is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love, strength, and wisdom in their hearts.

Her life was a true reflection of resilience, love, and faith - a legacy that will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to their favorite charity in her memory, to honor her lifelong spirit of generosity and love to others.
