Maria Helen Baffoni

Maria Helen (Fetta) Baffoni, 83, Johnston, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Philip Hulitar Hospice, with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Roger W. Baffoni. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale J. Fetta and Angelina (Geremia) Fetta.

Maria worked in the Radio and Television Industry for most of her life. She started her career at WJAR Radio and retired from Channel 36 as a program assistant where she made lifelong friends. Maria also owned many businesses with her husband Roger over the years. She enjoyed traveling, cooking great Italian food, going out and being with family and friends. She also loved dogs and always had one as a pet. She had a great appreciation for music and would sing-along to her favorite songs. Maria was a devout Catholic.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Lorraine "Lori" M. Nacci (Amedeo) of Johnston, her stepson, William R. Baffoni (Maria Grace) of Greenville, five grandchildren, David Nacci (Corinne), Amanda Nacci, William Baffoni, Jonathan Baffoni, and Talia Pandozzi, and a great-grandchild, Lucia Maria Nacci.

She was the mother of the late William J. Pandozzi, stepmother of the late Cindyann Baffoni, and sister of the late Kenneth Fetta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00AM at St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St, Cranston. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 8:00AM-10:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Entombment will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
