Maria De Rosario Berman

Maria Del Rosario Berman of Weatherford, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the young age of 60.

Visitation will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford, Texas, on Saturday, August 28th, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The memorial service will be from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.

Maria Berman was born on September 13, 1960, to Armando Berman and Lina Rosales del Angel. Maria Berman married Santos Luna on December 19, 1987. She was the best mother anyone could ever ask for and the best nana of her grandchildren. She loved her friends and all her co-workers as if they were family. A person of strong faith, she was a member of Nuevo Empezar Iglesia de Dios. Maria worked for McDonalds on South Main, for many years, where she met a lot of people and impacted many lives. Anywhere she went her presence was known, she was definitely a bright light in the world. Maria's hobbies included creating one of a kind jewelry and repairing it as well. She was known for her delicious homemade tamales and salsa.

Maria was preceded in death by her mother, Lina Rosales del Angel, and her father, Armando Berman.

Maria is survived by her husband, Santos Humberto Luna; her daughters, Lina Natali Casares and Mayra Luna in son in law, Anastacio Hernandez; her grandkids, Patrick Cazares, Roger Cazares El Roy Cazares, Arianna Cazares, Leo Hernandez, and Edward Luna.

Memorials in Maria’s memory may be made to the Freedom House of Weatherford to help local women in need.
