Maria (Sheila) Cecilia Campbell was born in Pagosa Springs, CO to Jesus Maria Martinez and Maria Antonia Fernandez-Martinez. The only girl with 5 brothers, she had the nickname of "Rocky" as a young girl.
She met a young man from Arkansas who had told everyone in town except her that they were going to get married. Thank goodness for him that Sheila kinda liked him too and said yes! James in 1964, Brian in 1968, and Catrina in 1970.
After moving to Bloomfield, NM in 1975, Sheila started working at Central Primary School as a teaching assistant where she stayed until retiring in 2005.
She was always available for her children and grandchildren. From 2018 to 2024 she cared for both of her grandchildren Lorna and Anthony.

Campbell Sr., parents Jesus Martinez and Maria Matinez, brothers Joe Dan Martinez, Demetero Martinez, Mel Martinez, and Orlando Martinez, grandparents Benero Fernandez, Cecilia Fernandez (Great Grandma Shelia), Seferino Martinez, and Catalina Archuleta Martinez.
