Maria Aurora Cervantes, a beloved daughter, sister, and mother, passed away of natural causes on November 9, 2025, at the age of 35. Born on August 7, 1990, in Salem, Oregon, Maria was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. She spent her life in the very community where she was born, leaving a lasting impact on her family and friends.

Maria was the cherished daughter of Salvador Cervantes Maciel and Maria Rebecca Cervantes. She is survived by her loving parents and her siblings: Mario, Salvador Jr, Jasmin, Lorena, and Guadalupe. She also leaves behind her two beautiful daughters, Kitana Cataleya Velasquez Cervantes and Adilena Josephine Cervantes, who were the pride and joy of her life.

A proud graduate of North Salem High School, Maria carried her education with grace and determination. After her studies, she dedicated her career to being a caregiver at CSP, where her nurturing spirit shone through. Maria was not only a professional caregiver but a caregiver at heart, embodying love and respect for everyone she encountered.

Maria was an active member of the Saint Edwards Catholic Church in Keizer, Oregon. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joyful and challenging times. As a member of her church community, she found solace in her spirituality and forged deep connections with those around her.

Maria had a vibrant spirit that filled every room with laughter. She found joy in spending time with her family, writing, singing, dancing, shopping, and driving. Her passions reflected her free spirit and her love for life. Maria was known for her caring nature, her giggles, and her ability to uplift those around her. She was a wonderful mother, always putting her daughters' needs first, and instilled in them the same love and kindness that defined her.

Maria's life was one of love, joy, and community. Her legacy is carried on through her children and the many lives she touched with her warmth.

Maria's funeral service will be held at St. Edwards Catholic Church on November 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM, where friends and family will gather to celebrate her beautiful life and share cherished memories.

In her passing, Maria Aurora Cervantes leaves a void that can never be filled. Her loving spirit and joyful laughter will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends. Nacida el 7 de agosto de 1990 en Salem, Oregón, María fue una luz brillante en la vida de todos los que la conocieron. Vivió toda su vida en la misma comunidad que la vio nacer, dejando una huella imborrable en su familia y amigos.

María era la adorada hija de Salvador Cervantes Maciel y María Rebeca Cervantes. La sobreviven sus padres y sus hermanos: Mario, Salvador Jr., Jasmin, Lorena y Guadalupe. Deja también a sus dos hermosas hijas, Kitana Cataleya Velásquez Cervantes y Adilena Josephine Cervantes, quienes fueron la luz de sus ojos y la alegría de su vida.

Orgullosa graduada de la preparatoria North Salem, María cursó sus estudios con gracia y determinación. Tras finalizarlos, dedicó su carrera al cuidado de personas en CSP, donde su espíritu compasivo brilló con luz propia. María no solo era una cuidadora profesional, sino una persona de corazón, que irradiaba amor y respeto por todos aquellos con quienes se encontraba.

María era una miembro activa de la Iglesia Católica de San Eduardo en Keizer, Oregón. Su fe era un pilar fundamental de su vida, que la guiaba tanto en los momentos de alegría como en los de dificultad. Como miembro de su comunidad parroquial, encontraba consuelo en su espiritualidad y forjó lazos profundos con quienes la rodeaban.

María tenía un espíritu vibrante que llenaba de risas cualquier lugar. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia, escribir, cantar, bailar, ir de compras y conducir. Sus pasiones reflejaban su espíritu libre y su amor por la vida. María era conocida por su naturaleza cariñosa, su risa contagiosa y su capacidad para animar a quienes la rodeaban. Fue una madre maravillosa, que siempre antepuso las necesidades de sus hijas y les inculcó el mismo amor y bondad que la definían.

El funeral de María se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica de San Eduardo el 15 de noviembre de 2025 a las 10:30 a. m., donde amigos y familiares se reunirán para celebrar su hermosa vida y compartir recuerdos entrañables.

Con su partida, María Aurora Cervantes deja un vacío irremplazable. Su espíritu amoroso y su risa contagiosa resonarán por siempre en los corazones de su familia y amigos.
