Maria was a devoted wife to Jesus Alonso, a loving mother to her four children, Gabriel Tobar†, Emily (Randy) Salazar, John-Robert (Kenneth Zarella) Charles and Larry (Irene) Perez. She loved her five Grand Children; Roman Zarella-Charles, Samantha Gonzalez, Emilio Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Samuel Calderon Jr; Seven Great Grand Children; Samuel Calderon, Manuel Calderon, Isaac Reyes, Iliana Calderon, Matthew Calderon, Arianna Calderon, Daniel Calderon; Five Great Great Grand Children; Caasi Gonzalez, Adalena Gonzales, Andrew Gonzales, Genesis Gonzalez and Isaac Gonzalez.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gabriel Tobar; her father, Roman Charles; her mother, Emma Charles; and her siblings, Raul Charles, Antonio Charles, Benito Charles, Guadalupe Charles, Ricardo Charles, and Amado Charles. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas with a Evening Service beginning at 6:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, 10:30 am at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home - Central. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery.
