Maria Compian Obituary
Buela was a loving housewife, mother, and grandmother. Her home was where all of her family would come together and celebrate. Buela's faith and devotion were shared with her family as she prayed the rosary daily and instilled traditions such as "arruyando al nino Dios" every Christmas Eve and blessing our meals during Sunday morning breakfast. Her love, devotion to God, and tradition will live on in us, her family
She is preceded in death by her husband, Macario Compian; and her parents, Ildefonso and Paulina Villa.
Buela is survived by her four children, Maria Elena (Gustavo) Rea, Maria Irene Compian, Francisco (Maria Luisa) Compian, Raul Macario (Alicia) Compian; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 siblings.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 pm with a 6:30 p.m. rosary on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
