Maria Antonieta Corricelli

Maria Antonieta (Arrieta Barinaga) Corricelli, age 91, of Somerville passed away on Monday, November 11th. Born and raised in Pisco, Peru, she was the daughter of the late Oswaldo J. and Dalila Piedad (Rivera Flores) Arrieta Barinaga. Maria immigrated to the U.S. in 1975 and settled in Somerville. She was employed for many years and retired from Gillette, and was a devoted volunteer at St. Mary's Church in Cambridge.
Maria was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Corricelli, and the devoted mother of Enrique Montellanos of Crestview, FL, Joey Corricelli and his wife Yessenia of Ft. Worth, TX, Michael Corricelli and his wife Zoila of Malden, Joseph Corricelli and his wife Teresa of Stoneham, Donna Montieth of Revere, and David Corricelli of Arlington. She was the loving grandmother of Haley, Ryan, Kelsi, Destinee, Leila, Daniella, Gabriella, Erik, Christopher, Paul, Mark, David and Jason, and the cherished great grandmother of Mateo, Genevieve, Jordan and Jesse. Maria was the dear sister of Norma, Lilia, Carmen, Javier and Soledad, and the late Oscar and Edmundo.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Maria's family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, November 26th from 4–8 pm, and again on Wednesday, November 27th at 10 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Mary of The Annunciation Church, 134 Norfolk St., Cambridge, at 11 am. Interment will be private.
