Maria Mercedes De Anda "Devoted Mother and Wife"
Maria Mercedes De Anda (82) was born on January 10, 1940 and passed away on January 9, 2023. She was the oldest daughter to Camilo Romero and Fausta De La Mora. Born in Jalisco, Mexico. She married her loving husband and best friend Ruben De Anda in 1961 and had 12 amazing children.
Maria immigrated to the US in1978 to Oakland, Ca and throughout her life also lived in San Leandro, Ca and Castro Valley, Ca.
Maria loved traveling, knitting, crossword puzzles and spending time with her husband and children. She was of catholic faith and especially loved the Virgin Mary. Her occupations varried through the years but her best one was being a successful business owner. She leaves a legacy that will live on through all of her children and grandchildren. She always took pride in her family. It was her biggest blessing in life.
Maria is survived by her husband Ruben and her 10 children: Teresa, Ruben, Martha, Ramiro, Mercedes, Rafael, Raul, Rolando, Mireya and Myrna. Her 31 grandchildren (2 of whom she adopted, Ruben and Jessica), 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. And is preceded in death by her sons Robert and Baby Jose.
Maria will especially be remembered by her kind heart, her beautiful smile and her fiery spirit that served to strengthen everyone she met. Maria was one of a kind and will truly be missed by everyone that knew her.
Visitation for Mrs. De Anda will be on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, at Holy Sepulchre - St. Michael Chapel, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward, CA 94542.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, 10:00am - 11:00am, at St. Felicitas Catholic Church, 1662 Manor Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94579. Burial will follow at 11:30am, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery - St. Claire section, 26320 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544.
María Mercedes de Anda "Devota Madre y esposa devota"
Maria Mercedes De Anda (82) nació el 10 de enero de 1940 y falleció el 9 de enero de 2023. Era la hija mayor de Camilo Romero y Fausta De La Mora. Nació en Jalisco, México. Se casó con su amado esposo y mejor amigo Rubén De Anda en 1961 y tuvo 12 hijos increíbles.
María emigró a los Estados Unidos en 1978 y establecio su residencia en Oakland, Ca, pero a lo largo de su vida vivio también en San Leandro y Castro Valley.
A María le encantaba viajar, tejer, crucigramas y pasar tiempo con su esposo e hijos. Ella era de fe católica y amaba especialmente a la Virgen María. Sus ocupaciones variaron a través de los años, pero la mejor fue su exitosa carrera como empresaria. Ella deja un legado que vivirá a través de todos sus hijos y nietos, siempre estuvo muy orgullosa de su familia que fue su mayor bendición.
A María le sobreviven su esposo Rubén y sus 10 hijos: Teresa, Rubén, Martha, Ramiro, Mercedes, Rafael, Raúl, Rolando, Mireya y Myrna. Sus 31 nietos (2 de los cuales adoptó, Rubén y Jessica), 23 bisnietos y 1 tataranieta. Y es precedida en la muerte por sus hijos Robert y Baby José.
María será recordada especialmente por su corazón amable, su hermosa sonrisa y su espíritu ardiente que sirvió para fortalecer a todos los que conoció. María era única y realmente será extrañada por todos los que la conocieron.
El Servicio de Ms. De Anda será el lunes 30 de enero de 2023, de 4:00 P.M. a 8:00 P.M., en Holy Sepulchre - St. Michael Chapel, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward, CA 94542.
La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el martes 31 de enero de 2023, de 10:00 a.m. a 11:00 a.m., en la Iglesia Católica St. Felicitas, 1662 Manor Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94579. El entierro seguirá a las 11:30 am, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery - St. Claire section, 26320 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544.
