She is survived by her children: Julian Anzaldua, Homero Anzaldua, Miguel Anzaldua, Zenia Anzaldua, Javier Anzaldua and Maria del Refugio Anzaldua; sisters: Margarita Gutierrez and Irma Gutierrez; 18 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday, September 30, 2025 with a Prayer Service being held at 6:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.

Mission ~ María del Refugio Gutiérrez Maciel, de 95 años, entró en el descanso eterno el lunes 29 de septiembre de 2025 en su casa rodeada de su amada familia. Nació el martes 17 de diciembre de 1929 en Reynosa, Tamaulipas, México, hija de Miguel Gutiérrez Domínguez y Juana Maciel Garza.
Le sobreviven sus hijos: Julián Anzaldua, Homero Anzaldua, Miguel Anzaldua, Zenia Anzaldua, Javier Anzaldua y María del Refugio Anzaldua; hermanas: Margarita Gutiérrez e Irma Gutiérrez; 18 nietos.
El velorio se llevará a cabo de 4:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. el martes 30 de septiembre de 2025 y se llevará a cabo un servicio de oración a las 6:00 p. m. en Rivera Funeral Home, 1901 Pecan Blvd., McAllen. Los arreglos de cremación han sido confiados al cuidado de Rivera Funeral Home de McAllen.
