Maria was predeceased by her husband Jose L. Diaz Sr. in 2016. She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Jose L. Diaz Jr. and his wife Denise of Freehold, NJ; Angel A. Diaz and his wife Ileana of Victor, NY, her siblings Angel and Carmen Medina of Tampa, FL; Juana and Delfino Gonzalez of Tampa, FL; Rita Velez of Bayamon, PR; five grandchildren, Raquel Gonzalez, Jose L. Diaz III, Ileana Diaz, Luca Diaz, Adriana Diaz; four great-grandchildren Adrian Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez and Baby Gonzalez due November 2025 and Baby Diaz due February 2026.
A Memorial Mass will be on Thursday, September 11th at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church in Freehold Twp., NJ. Innichement of cremains will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery in Marlboro, NJ.
