Maria M. Espinal-Almonte, age 81 of Camden, passed away at her home on September 10, 2025. She was born in Janico Santiago, Dominican Republic on November 21, 1943 to the late Damian Antonio Espinal and Maria Antonia Almonte.
Devoted mother of Daribel Peralta, Lorenzo Peralta, Nelly Ortiz, Reyna Peralta, Felipe Peralta, Zoraida Pfeffer and Yolanda Ali; Loving grandmother of Madellyn, Marllyn, Merelin, Arlin, Edelin, Lorenzo, Lorena, Laura, Liam, Jasmine, Nayellie, Jorge, Elianny, Joshua, Camille, John, Hafiz and Omar; great grandmother of 19, and dear sister of Nidia Fernandez, Virgilio Espinal, Antonio Bonifacio, Belanche Almonte and Danilo Martinez.
Maria enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and going for walks.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr.
