Maria Laboy Obituary
Maria was a vibrant force, outspoken yet tender-hearted, always offering honest care and support. She dedicated Sundays to church, actively participating and aiding the less fortunate at Evergreen United Holy Church in Salemburg, NC.
Known for her culinary skills in Puerto Rican dishes, Maria brought joy to many with her cooking. Her trustworthy nature and unwavering commitment earned her deep respect.
Survived by her children, Destiny Falcon, Katrina Peters, Jesus Rivera; step-children, Sierra Maise and Diamonte Ortiz; grandchildren, Khadijah Peters, Nyreke Peters, Katia Peters, Kimora Falcon and E'lan Falcon; step-grandchildren, Erick Falcon, Ivelisse Falcon, and Eyanna Falcon; great-grandchildren, Gerrod McClain, Karter Peters, and Nalah Peters. Maria's family cherishes memories of their annual trips.
Her life exemplified hard work and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on those she encountered. Though her physical presence is gone, her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. Maria Laboy's life of love and generosity will be dearly missed by warmly remembered.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 09, 2023 at Springmore Baptist Church, 651 McBrayer Homestead Road, Shelby, NC 28152.
