Maria Aurora (Tomas) Lampron, 66, of Waterbury, entered into the gates of Heaven on Monday February 3, 2025 at Complete Care at Glendale in Naugatuck. She was the beloved wife of Paul J. Lampron.
Maria was born in Azores, Portugal on January 23, 1959, daughter of the late Victor F. and Maria A. (Lacerda) Tomas. She came to Waterbury as a young child and graduated from Kennedy High School Class of 1977. She worked in the healthcare industry as a CNA, at Medicare Pavillion and later as a companion and homemaker until her retirement. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching movies and loved to talk. She was a proud and devoted mother who cherished times spent with her family.
Besides her husband Paul of 44 years, she leaves to honor and cherish her memory; six sons, Paul M. Tomas and his wife Emily of Naugatuck, Joseph Lampron of Waterbury, James V. Lampron and his partner Nick Cuppari of Stamford, Daniel Lampron of Waterbury, Jeffery Shimkevich and Nicholas Shimkevich and his wife Mikayla all of Watertown; and four grandchildren, Jackeline, Michaela, Victoria, and Anthony.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church 2071 Baldwin Street Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.
