It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria A. Marshall, of Stony Point, N.Y., who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Born on September 13, 1934 in Amberg, Germany, she grew up in Amberg and later moved to the U.S. after marrying her husband, Charles Marshall. She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband, Charles, and a devoted mother to her 7 children, Eva, Katherine, Charles, Susan, Barbara, Jean and Robert.
Maria lived a fulfilling life and had a green thumb and loved tending to her garden, which was always in bloom. She enjoyed reading books, watching her favorite TV shows, and solving crossword puzzles in her free time.
Maria was a kind and generous soul, always putting others' needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her infectious smile an warm personality. She is survived by her 7 children, 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 4pm-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. Services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, 11am at the funeral home followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.

The Keeperman family has been the next door neighbors and friends of the Marshalls for more than 50 years. We´ve watched with joy their comings and goings, and have shared in their gatherings for celebrations with Charlie Sr. and Maria, their children, grand and great-grand children, siblings, co-workers, and neighbors. Maria will be sorely missed by us and everyone who knew and loved her. God rest her soul, she was a lovely woman.
