Maria Ofelia Mendoza de Guzman passed away January 7, 2024 in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 98 years. She was born November 5, 1925 in El Salvador.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents Salvador Montenegro and Santos Mendoza; husband Carlos Guzman; and son Jorge Ernesto Mendoza.
She is survived by her children Nora Alicia Guzman, Ana Margarita Guzman, Carlos Alberto Guzman, Blanca Estela Guzman, Blanca Lilian Guzman, Rene Alfonso Guzman, Alfredo Guzman, Adda Luz Guzman, Ofelia Carolina Guzman De Esquivel; 41 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
VISITATION Friday, January 19, from 6-8pm at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Saturday, January 20, at 11am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (3304 4th Ave - Council Bluffs). Interment at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery - Council Bluffs, IA.

Maria es precedida en la muerte por sus padres Salvador Montenegro y Santos Mendoza; esposo Carlos Guzman y hijo Jorge Ernesto Mendoza.
