Maria Cecilia Mendoza

Maria Cecilia Mendoza passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 73. She was born on July 27, 1951, in Harlingen, Texas. She was the daughter of Guadalupe and Maria Barrera. She married Victor Mendoza.

She is survived by Maria Limas (sister), Linda Sullivent (sister), G. Michael Barrera (brother) Adan Barrera (brother), Anthony Betancourt (grandson), and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe & Maria Barrera, husband Reyes Betancourt, son Reyes Betancourt Jr., brother John Barrera, brother Julian Barrera, and sister Corina Barrera.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 12:30 P.M with a visitation to follow from 1-2 P.M. at Rudd Funeral Home-Tremonton (111 N 100 E-Tremonton). A graveside service will follow at 2:30 P.M. at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery (175 E 1200 S- Tremonton).
