MARIA CRISTINA MONTES MATA
EDINBURG- Maria Cristina Montes Mata, 46, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 7, 2023 in McAllen. Mrs. Montes was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Teresa Mata Martinez.
Mrs. Montes is survived by her seven children, Lizeth G. Landaverde Montes, Diana Paola Landaverde Montes, Karen Gisel Montes Mata, Michelle Arellano, Jorge Alberto Arellano, Luis Angel Villanueva and Fernanda Caraballo; eight siblings, Mercedes Montes, Luz Adriana Montes Mata, Elisa Montes Mata, Maria Teresa Montes Mata, Dalia Hortencia Montes Mata, Rose Norma Montes Mata, Ricardo Montes Mata and Manuel Montes Mata; father, Manuel Montes; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 2 p.m. prayer service, Friday, June 9, 2023 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
