Maria Ojeda Obituary

Maria enjoyed watching movies, embroidery, sewing, and baking. Reading the bible and praying were always a part of her daily routine. She also spent much of her time taking care of her granddaughters. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Hector Manuel Ojeda; parents: Manuel and Domitila Anaya; daughter: Lucila Ojeda; and brothers: Roberto Anaya, Fernando Anaya, and Jesus Manuel Anaya.
She is survived by her sons: Miguel Ojeda and wife Delfina of Hildago, MX, Hector Manuel Ojeda, Felipe Ojeda, and Alvaro Ojeda and wife Claudia, all of Kermit,TX; daughter: Isela Altamirano and husband Luis of Kermit, TX; brother: Ernesto Anaya and wife Matilde of Cuauhtemoc, MX; sisters: Merced Anaya and Hortencia Anaya, both of Cuauhtemoc, MX; grandchildren: Jiselle Altamirano, Jasmine Quiroz and husband Saul, Noemi Altamirano, and Gabriela Altamirano; and great-grandchild: Zaret Quiroz.
Visitation will be from 8 am – 8 pm Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Family Funeral Services Chapel in Kermit. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Iglesias Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus in Kermit, TX. Burial will follow at Kermit Cemetery. Pallbearers are Felipe Ojeda, Alvaro Ojeda, Luis Altamirano, Saul Quiroz, Ernesto Anaya, and Hector Ojeda.
Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor and condolences may be sent to the family at www.fs-fp.com.
