In Loving memory of Maria Teresa Perez, a Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Friend. She passed away peacefully at her home on August 16,2023 at the age of 80.
She is now reunited with the love of her life, Husband Gabriel Perez, whom were married for 54 years. Surviving family are her daughters Kathryn (Perez) Alamos and spouse Pedro Borunda, Lydia Perez and spouse Bobby Joe White, and Andrea Perez. Surviving grand daughters are Samantha Alamos, Katelyn Mollohan and Taylor Mollohan. Survived by sister Lydia Vasquez and nieces, extended family and friends.
Teresa was born on January 11, 1943 and raised in El Paso, TX. She graduated from Bowie high school and studied Education at UTEP where she later became an Elementary teacher of 30 plus years. She loved going to church, fellowship, enjoyed providing church potlucks, reading the bible and listening to Christian music. She loved gardening, watching old movies and cooking. Our Mom was a strong woman of faith, had a heart of gold, provided lots of love. She will be deeply missed and will be forever loved!
Visitation is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday August 25,2023 at Sunset Funeral home East 750 N. Carolina. A Chapel Service will be celebrated in memory at 10: 00 am Saturday August 26,2023 at Sunset Funeral Home East 750 N. Carolina. She will be laid to rest at 11:30 am at Evergreen East Cemetery with her husband.
