María nació el 10 de Agosto del 1938, de Francisco Salas Valenzuela y Genoveva Robledo en Durango, México. A ella le gustaba la jardinería y amaba las rosas. A María también le gustaba cocinar para su familia y le gustaría vestirse a la moda. Le gustaba coleccionar figuritas, platos y muñecas pequeñas.
María fue precedida en la muerta por su padre Francisco Salas Valenzuela y madre, Genoveva Robledo. Que en paz descansen.
Los que quedan para honrar y celebrar su memoria son hijos, Francisco Salas, Roberto Salazar, Rafael Salas, Thomas Salas; nietos Rose Salazar, Robert Salazar, Alexander Salazar, Erica Ramírez, Gilbert Collins, Ralph Junior Salas, Amanda Zarate, Jennifer Diaz, Cynthia Sabqlier, Cecilia Cruz, Gabriela López, Liliana Salas, Natalia Salas and Sofia Salas.
