Maria Rodriguez Obituary

Maria Magdalena Rodriguez (Suarez) was born on July 5, 1948, in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, to Jesús Suarez and Eladia Torres Suarez. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 15, 2025, in Kissimmee, Florida, after walking gracefully through her journey with dementia.

Maria lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and love. For many years, she served as a Bankruptcy Court Clerk, where she became well known for her professionalism and many memorable courtroom stories.

Her faith in Christ was the foundation of her life. She attended and faithfully served at Iglesia Cristiana Los Ciento y Veinte, the church her father pastored, for many years before becoming a devoted member of Resurrection Christian Center.

Maria believed there was nothing impossible in life. She was always there for everyone, literally and figuratively. She was a true prayer warrior, lifting up those she loved and covering her family and friends in prayer. Above all else, Maria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose greatest joy was found in her family.

She also found joy in traveling, exploring new places, and cherishing precious time with her loved ones. Though dementia may have caused memories to fade, the memories Maria created with her family and friends will forever live on in our hearts. She will always be remembered for her strength, her warm heart, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Jesús and Eladia Suarez; her brothers, Daniel Suarez, Ismael Suarez, and Cristino Suarez; and her sister, Milca Suarez.

She is survived by her loving husband, Victor M. Rodriguez; her daughter, Lorraine Negron (Rodriguez) and son-in-law José Negron; her sons, George Rodriguez and Steven Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Kaithlyn Negron Pleh and her husband Zlatan Pleh, Maegan Negron, Serena Negron, Gabrielle Negron, Ethan Rodriguez, Briana Rodriguez, and Jesse Rodriguez; and her great-grandchildren, Macson Pleh, Bryson Pleh, and Amelia Pleh. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a procession to the burial at 10:30 a.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and she now rests in the arms of her Savior.
