Maria Del Rosario Garcia, de 51 años, de Crockett, falleció el viernes 21 de Noviembre de 2025 en Houston, TX. Estuvo rodeada de su familia, quienes le cantaron canciones de adoración hasta su último aliento. Maria nació el 15 de noviembre de 1974 en Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato, México, hija de Margarito Tovar y Conrada Rivera. Maria fue una cristiana devota que amaba a Jesús y a su iglesia con todo su corazón. Fue una esposa maravillosa, una madre increíble y una abuela extraordinaria que amó a su familia con todo su ser. Ella fue una mujer valiente que peleó una larga batalla contra el cáncer hasta sus últimos momentos y nunca perdió la fe ni la esperanza. Sus últimas palabras para su hija fueron "Gloria a Dios", sabemos que ahora se está regocijando en el cielo con nuestro Señor Jesús.
A Maria le sobreviven su esposo de 32 años, Hipolito Garcia de Crockett; sus hijos, Maria Teresa Garcia y su esposo, Andres Diaz de Teague, Esteban Garcia y su esposa, Sara Saavedra de Crockett, Omar Garcia y su novia, Bernadaja Harper de Crockett; sus nietos, Valerie Aldaco, Sophia Aldaco, Daniella Garcia, Andres Diaz, Andrea Diaz; su hermana, Teresa Tovar; sus hermanos, Alfredo Tovar, Alberto Tovar, Raul Tovar, Rigoberto Tovar, Javier Tovar, Juan Tovar, Mauricio Tovar; y muchos otros queridos familiares y amigos. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Margarito y Conrada Tovar.
Los servicios funerarios para Maria Del Rosario Garcia se llevarán a cabo el sábado 29 de noviembre de 2025 a las 11:00 a.m. en Good Shepherd Fellowship Church. El entierro se llevará a cabo a continuación en el Evergreen Memorial Park.
El velorio será el viernes por la noche de 5:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Callaway-Allee.

Maria Del Rosario Garcia, age 51, of Crockett passed away Friday, November 21, 2025 in Houston, TX. She was surrounded by her family, singing worship songs to her until her last breath. Maria was born November 15, 1974 in Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato, Mexico to parents, Margarito Tovar and Conrada Rivera. Maria was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus and her church very dearly. Maria was a wonderful wife, amazing mother and extraordinary grandmother who loved her family with all her heart. She was a brave woman who battled a long fight against cancer until her last moments and never gave up faith and hope. Her last words to her daughter were "Gloria a Dios," we know she is rejoicing in heaven with our Lord now.
Maria is survived by husband of 32 years, Hipolito Garcia of Crockett; children, Maria Teresa Garcia and husband, Andres Diaz of Teague, Esteban Garcia and wife, Sara Saavedra of Crockett, Omar Garcia and girlfriend, Bernadaja Harper of Crockett; grandchildren, Valerie Aldaco, Sophia Aldaco, Daniella Garcia, Andres Diaz, Andrea Diaz; sister, Teresa Tovar; brothers, Alfredo Tovar, Alberto Tovar, Raul Tovar, Rigoberto Tovar, Javier Tovar, Juan Tovar, Mauricio Tovar; numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Margarito and Conrada Tovar.
Funeral services for Maria Del Rosario Garcia will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Good Shepherd Fellowship. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
