Maria Sanchez Obituary

Maria emigrated to the United States at a young age where she worked in apple orchards. Despite raising three sons by herself, she made the time to learn English, get her citizenship, and devote herself to helping ESL students in the Ephrata School District for twenty seven years.
Maria is survived by her husband Raymond Acheson and her three sons; Erick, Alexander, and Nathan Sanchez. She will be remembered as a wife, mother, mentor, teacher, friend, and neighbor. There will be a celebration of her life at a future date.

Dear Ray and family, even though we didn't know Maria you always spoke highly of her. Sorry we can't be there on May7th, as we have another memorial to attend that day on the west side. We hope that you have loving memories of the time you spent with Maria to keep her close to your heart forever and a day...

My deepest condolences to you Raymond and your family. I worked with Maria at the High School. She was a gentle and caring person. She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
