Maria Soriano Obituary
Maria Teresa Sanchez Soriano, 74, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 11:58 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Richard Meredith officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with rosary to be said in English at 4:00 p.m. and in Spanish at 7:00 p.m. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of El Refugio, Mexico she was born on June 21, 1948 the daughter of the late Isabel Sanchez and Feliberta Gonzalez Soriano.
She was a homemaker and a devoted member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She also hosted a Why Be A Catholic Bible Study in her home.
Survivors include her husband: Trinidad Soriano of Hopkinsville, KY; her sons, Jose Guadalupe (Rebecca) Soriano of Austin, TX, Jose Trinidad (Karla) Soriano of Groveland, FL and Emanuel (Shelby) Soriano of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter, Ana Isabel Soriano of Germany; her brothers, Salvador Sanchez of Mexico, Juan Sanchez of Denver, CO and Susano Sanchez of South Carolina; her sisters, Maria De Jesus of Avon Park, FL and Antonia Sanchez of Avon Park, FL. Six grandchildren.
Contributions may take the form of donations to the Saints Peter & Paul Memorial Plaque Fund, 902 East Ninth Street, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
