Maria Stapleton

Maria Stapleton, loving mother, grandmother and wife, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at
Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was 58 years old and a longtime resident of Warsaw.
Born on April 14, 1964, Maria was the daughter of Raeburn Bradley and Shirlene (Baldridge) Bradley Pitts. She
shared more than thirty-five years with Edgar "Ed" Stapleton who survives at home.
Maria loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and dog, Bandit. She loved the Lord
and was a longtime member of Full Gospel Tabernacle, Claypool. She taught Sunday school classes, sang,
played guitar and read her Bible often. She is remembered for her kind spirit and for her home cooked meals,
especially her Chicken 'n Dumplings.
In addition to her husband, Ed who survives in Warsaw, she is survived by two daughters, Ashley Stapleton of
Somerset, KY and Whitney Stapleton of Warsaw; two grandchildren, Arabella and Waylen and four siblings:
sister, Debra Bradley of Warsaw; brother, Lee (Melissa) Bradley of Somerset; and two half-brothers, Russell Bradley of
Warsaw and Daniel (Michelle) Bradley of Warsaw. She is also survived by her stepmother, Patti
Bradley of Pierceton and preceded by her mother, father and her grandparents – her grandmother, Katie (Art)
Speigle was especially influential in her life.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Maria's care. Services will be held at Full Gospel
Tabernacle Church, 204 N Main Street, Claypool on Monday, October 24, 2022 with Pastor John Dotson
officiating. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with gathering for one hour prior. Burial will follow in
Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
