Judith Parkison, age 86, of Warsaw, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away on Sunday October 19, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1939, to Donald and Henrietta Phend in Columbia City. She married her husband Donald Parkison in 1956.
Judith attended Home Church with her family, where she found joy in fellowship and lived out a deep and steadfast faith. Her personality shone brightly in everything she did; she found joy in painting and gardening, passionately tending to her beloved morning glories, hollyhocks, and marigolds. These pursuits were not just hobbies but expressions of her deep appreciation for nature and family. Cooking for her loved ones was one of Judith’s most cherished joys, offering her a special way to spend meaningful time with family.
She is survived by her children, Rory Parkison of Albion, Laurel (Richard) Padilla of Matlawan, MI, Dana (Lynn) Brown of Albion, and Tuesday (Ray) Halsey of Syracuse. Judith also leaves behind a legacy of love through her 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, who will undoubtedly remember her warmth and kindness. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings, Richard (Marthene) Phend and Sally Black, who shared many memories and moments of joy with her.
Judith was predeceased by her children, Dawn Phelps and Cheryl Clark, as well as two grandchildren. Her husband, Donald Leroy Parkison, along with her parents, provided the foundation upon which her family was built. Judith was also preceded in death by her siblings, Patsy Katt and Don Phend.
A Celebration of Life is currently in the early planning stages, with her family intending to honor her memory at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
