Her brothers and sisters that rest in God’s glory are Luis Ancelmo Vásquez, Antonio Vásquez, Juan Nestor Vásquez, Isidro Vásquez, Teodulo Vásquez, Daniel Vasquez and Tomasa Genoveva Vásquez.
Her husband, Leonidas Martinez, who also rests in the glory of God along with her son Leonidas Enrique Martinez Vásquez, and her daughter Marta Lilian Martinez Vásquez.
She is survived by her sister, Domitila Vásquez, children, Gloria Isabel Martínez de Alvarez, Victor Manuel Martínez Vásquez, Leonidas Aristides Martínez Vásquez and Melva Elena Martínez Vásquez. Son-in-law, Jose Trinidad Alvarez and daughters-in-law, Adalina Azucena Guevara de Martínez and Doris Evelin Delgado de Martínez. Her grandchildren, Blanca Nidia Alvarez Martínez, Génesis Giselle Martínez, Jesse Israel Martínez Guevara, Nehemias Abdiel Martínez Guevara, Emilio Ezequiel Martínez Delgado, Nahum Otoniel Martínez Guevara and great-granddaughter, Elena Marie Martínez Gillis.
María Ildefonsa Vásquez Viuda de Martínez peacefully transitioned to her eternal rest on the 14th of December in 2025.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, South Hill, VA. Burial will take place at a later date in Jocoro, El Salvador.

Su bisnieta Elena Marie Martínez Gillis.
Maria Ildefonsa Vásquez Viuda de Martínez llego a su descanso eterno el 14 de Diciembre del 2025.
Se celebrará una misa de cuerpo presente el domingo 21 de diciembre de 2025 a las 3:00 p. m. en la Iglesia Católica Good Shepherd en South Hill, Virginia. El entierro tendrá lugar en una fecha posterior en Jocoro, El Salvador.
